According to the announcement issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board, former South African fast bowler Morne Morkel has been given the contract of the bowling coach of the Pakistani team for 6 months. He will also perform duties with the national team in the World Cup scheduled in India.
38-year-old bowler Morne Morkel will replace Umar Gill, a former Pakistan fast bowler who served as interim bowling coach during the team's previous series against New Zealand.
